Glendale Inventor Seeks Licensing for Ergonomic Door Holder
"I wanted to create a new doorstop that would keep a door open without the need to constantly bend over," said a Glendale, Arizona-based inventor. Their solution, dubbed The Door Holder, aims to replace traditional wedges with a design focused on accessibility and ease of use in professional and residential settings.

The invention functions by sliding beneath a door, eliminating the physical strain often associated with positioning standard rubber stoppers. Its portable configuration is intended for a wide range of users, including delivery personnel, contractors, and office staff who frequently require hands-free access to doorways.
Currently managed by InventHelp, the device is being pitched for licensing or direct sale to manufacturers. The submission, filed under reference number SBT-2279, is part of the company's efforts to bring independent inventions to market through their Pittsburgh-based headquarters.
