Bloomington Inventor Proposes Underground Trash Storage System
An inventor from Bloomington, Indiana, has developed a patent-pending system designed to clear garage and shed clutter by moving garbage and recycling receptacles underground. The LASUBA invention aims to reclaim floor space while mitigating the typical mess and logistical hassles associated with traditional outdoor or indoor container storage.
The system utilizes an all-in-one design intended for residential use, prioritizing ease of access while removing the need to keep bulky cans near a home's exterior walls. By tucking containers beneath the surface, the creator argues that households can eliminate both physical obstructions and the persistent odor or pest issues often tied to standard waste disposal setups.
Currently managed by the Pittsburgh-based firm InventHelp, the project is seeking licensing agreements or direct acquisition by manufacturers. Interested parties can review technical drawings and a prototype model by contacting the company’s Indianapolis office under reference number 25-SGM-704.
