7 Brew Targets Southern California with San Diego Expansion

The Arkansas-born drive-thru coffee chain 7 Brew is planting its flag in San Diego County, marking a significant push into Southern California. Managed by regional developer Surf 7B, LLC, the expansion aims to replicate the brand’s high-energy service model across a region known for its active, on-the-go lifestyle.

Founded in Rogers, Arkansas, the company has built a reputation on a rapid-fire service model and a sprawling menu that spans everything from iced coffees and energy drinks to smoothies and lemonades. Unlike traditional cafe footprints, 7 Brew relies on a streamlined drive-thru layout staffed by "Brewistas," a team dynamic that prioritizes speed and customer engagement.

Surf 7B, LLC, the franchise group spearheading the move, already manages operations in Yuma, Arizona, and the Imperial Valley. Partner Steve Panko noted that these markets were chosen specifically for their community-oriented culture, which the brand views as a natural fit for its high-energy service. While specific addresses for the new San Diego sites remain under wraps, the company confirmed plans for multiple locations over the coming years, promising both new beverage options for residents and a slate of local employment opportunities.
