Engineered to cut through wind and road noise, Rockford Fosgate’s latest TMS 5x7 speakers pack 200 watts of power into a direct-fit frame. The Tempe-based manufacturer designed the new hardware specifically for motorcycle environments, prioritizing thermal management and weather resistance to ensure consistent performance at highway speeds.

The redesigned platform doubles the power handling of its predecessor, utilizing long-throw woofers and a large voice coil to deliver deeper bass and clearer output. According to Wayne Connolly, Vice President of Product Development, the focus remained on usable output and direct-fit integration to handle the constant vibration, heat, and moisture inherent to motorcycle riding. A specialized motor structure and integrated radiator ring manage heat dissipation, allowing the speakers to maintain clarity even during extended, high-volume sessions.

Installation is simplified through a drop-in design compatible with factory mounting points, including specific grille options for Road Glide and Street Glide models. As part of the company's Element Ready lineup, these units are constructed to withstand UV exposure, dirt, and water, ensuring the hardware remains functional across varying road conditions. The series is now available through authorized dealers and the company’s digital storefront.
