BitDelta Securities Opens Dubai Hub After Securing CMA License
By securing a Category 5 license from the UAE Capital Market Authority, BitDelta Securities has transitioned from a remote entity to a locally regulated presence in Dubai. The firm is now authorized to operate as an introducing broker, connecting regional investors to global markets from its new Business Bay office.
The firm’s new operational hub at the Tamani Arts Offices Building marks the conclusion of a rigorous licensing process that included meeting strict capital requirements and governance standards. Under the CMA’s Category 5 framework, BitDelta Securities acts strictly as an intermediary, facilitating access to asset classes ranging from foreign exchange and commodities to equities and bonds without holding client funds or executing trades directly.
Dr. Demetrios Zamboglou, Group CEO of BitDelta, framed the expansion as a rejection of purely digital-only models in favor of physical accountability. The Business Bay office will house dedicated teams for compliance and partner relations, aiming to provide institutional-grade service tailored to the specific regulatory landscape of the GCC. This move signals a long-term commitment to the UAE, positioning the company as a bridge between local investors and international financial institutions.
