The xbx a01+ joins a specialized inventory that serves commercial, enterprise, and government sectors. Designed as a wearable display, the unit offers a modular front-frame that allows users to toggle between transparent AR modes and a more immersive experience, aided by an included light-blocking visor for high-glare environments. Jeremy Schneiderman, CEO of Drone Nerds, stated that the addition aims to leverage the company’s established e-commerce platform and technical expertise to capture cross-selling opportunities within the wearable display market.

Technical specifications for the device include a 0.6-inch Micro OLED display capable of a 120Hz refresh rate and a 48-degree field of view. Weighing approximately 62 grams, the glasses support 3D modes and three degrees of freedom when paired with the XREAL Beam Pro Spatial Computing Companion. The hardware utilizes a BirdBath optical engine to achieve 1080p resolution and 1500 nits of brightness. These units are currently available for order through the Drone Nerds online portal.
