Harbour Group Expands Flow Component Portfolio with APG Acquisition

St. Louis-based Harbour Group has acquired American Packing & Gasket Holdings, a Texas-founded distributor specializing in sealing and fluid conveyance products. The move integrates APG into a portfolio that already includes Stainless Hose Fittings, Texcel, and OmegaOne, aiming to create a comprehensive one-stop shop for industrial fluid control components.

Operating from facilities in Houston and Knoxville, APG brings a catalog of over 40,000 active SKUs to the Harbour Group ecosystem. The firm, established in 1943, provides specialized services such as custom gasket fabrication and kitting, which complement the existing technical offerings of Harbour’s current flow-control brands.

Jeff Fox, Harbour Group’s chairman and CEO, highlighted the strategic fit of the acquisition, specifically pointing to the integration of the EVER-TITE™ cam and groove coupling brand with Texcel’s hose lines. Jake Walker, who leads the SHF, Texcel, and OmegaOne platform, noted that the deal strengthens the group’s technical depth and service capabilities. While financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the move aligns with Harbour Group’s long-standing strategy of acquiring and scaling niche manufacturing and distribution businesses, a practice the firm has maintained since its founding in 1976.
