Elite Robots and Generalist AI Advance Embodied Foundation Models
A 99% task success rate and triple the processing speed define the new GEN-1 embodied foundation model, the result of a partnership between Generalist AI and Elite Robots. By integrating this software with high-precision cobot hardware, the firms aim to bridge the gap between digital intelligence and physical execution.

The collaboration centers on leveraging Elite Robots' industrial platforms to stress-test the GEN-1 model through rigorous, real-world data collection. During validation, the cobot hardware maintained consistent performance across 1,800 block stackings and 200 box foldings without human intervention. This reliability is anchored by a 100,000-hour mean time between failures and precision repeatability of ±0.02mm.
Beyond raw endurance, the integration achieved a three-fold increase in trajectory acceleration. The robots' 360-degree motion range and force feedback sensors allow the GEN-1 model to identify and correct execution errors in real time. Backed by NVIDIA NVentures and founded by former Google DeepMind researchers, Generalist AI views this hardware-software synergy as a critical step toward commercializing robots capable of handling complex, unpredictable tasks in industrial settings.
