Mill Creek Residential Returns as Lead Sponsor for Fore the Build
With a goal to raise $250,000 for veteran housing, Mill Creek Residential will headline the Fore the Build golf tournament for the third year running. The event, scheduled for September 11 at Scottsdale’s Camelback Golf Club, aims to address housing stability for those who have served in the military.
The tournament has become a staple for Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona, with organizers anticipating another sell-out crowd. Darren Thompson, board member and chairman of the planning committee, noted that the focus on veterans drives the urgency of this year's fundraising efforts. Participants will compete for high-stakes prizes, including a luxury mattress valued at $100,000 and a vehicle provided by Earnhardt Auto.
Mill Creek’s involvement builds on a long-standing philanthropic track record. The firm maintains a 20-year history with Habitat for Humanity’s Maryland chapter, an initiative that has generated over $2.2 million for affordable housing projects. By consistently backing these regional tournaments, the Boca Raton-based developer continues to leverage its national presence to fund local construction efforts.
