LG and Prime Video Bring Eternia Home with New OLED Picture Mode

The collaboration introduces Creator Original Picture Mode, a specialized setting exclusive to the W6, G6, and C6 series. Unlike standard cinematic presets, this mode allows studios to dictate specific parameters—including shadow detail, color balance, and motion handling—directly to the display. Powered by the α (Alpha) 11 processor 4K Gen 3, the TVs are designed to maintain 12-bit image precision, ensuring that the film’s visual effects remain as intended by director Travis Knight.

Beyond picture quality, LG is integrating a voice-activated feature into its Magic Remote. By speaking the phrase, "I have the power," users on webOS 23 or later can instantly trigger the movie and its associated bonus content. According to Chris Jo of LG’s Media Entertainment Solution Company, the move is intended to bridge the gap between long-time fans of the 1980s saga and new viewers, offering an interactive bridge to the streaming content. The Creator Original Picture Mode is slated for a full release by the end of July 2026.
