Live Love Spa Launches Ninth Annual National Wellness Month

Instead of chasing perfect health regimens, Live Love Spa is asking participants to commit to just one small, intentional habit this August. The ninth annual National Wellness Month movement shifts the focus from rigid industry trends toward personal autonomy, betting that self-selected routines foster the most sustainable long-term results.

The initiative, founded in 2018, finds backing in recent clinical data. A 2024 meta-analysis in the journal Healthcare suggests that individuals who select their own wellness habits demonstrate significantly higher motivation and consistency than those following mandates from employers or medical professionals. By encouraging participants to sign the 'I Choose Wellness' pledge and share their progress via social media, the campaign aims to combat widespread burnout through accessible, daily acts of self-care.

Major hospitality brands are anchoring the movement with specialized programming throughout the month. The Ritz-Carlton Spa at Grande Lakes Orlando is hosting a three-day 'A Drama Free Life' retreat, while Noble House has curated a Wellness Weekend at Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa. Additionally, The Springs Resort and Murrieta Hot Springs Resort are rolling out recovery-focused spa rituals in collaboration with CauseMedic. Lisa Michaelis, founder and CEO of Live Love Spa, emphasizes that these offerings are designed to prove that small, daily choices are the true foundation for a lifetime of health.
