The collaboration follows a year-long pilot program across 20 hospitals and emergency departments. By integrating Beam’s virtual clinical services with Simvuly’s secure collaboration platform, the service provides an alternative to expensive, long-term specialty contracts. Organizations ranging from independent solo practices to large urban emergency rooms can now leverage this network to keep patient care local, effectively reducing unnecessary transfers and wait times.

Dr. Sarjoo Patel noted that the platform targets providers who require timely expertise for complex cases rather than a broad specialty contract. For clinicians in rural or underserved areas, this represents a shift toward more equitable care delivery. Beyond specialist consultations, the expanded service includes hospitalist support and case management, available to all clinicians upon registration.
