A new manufacturing facility has opened in India, marking a strategic expansion for OptiMIM through a joint venture with Vasantha Tool Crafts Pvt. Ltd. The facility represents a significant milestone for the Form Technologies subsidiary, blending OptiMIM’s precision molding expertise with the established manufacturing infrastructure of Vasantha Tool Crafts. By integrating these operations, the company intends to streamline production for high-performance components used in the medical, automotive, consumer electronics, industrial, and aerospace sectors.

Marc Riquelme, President of OptiMIM and Signicast, noted that the site creates a vital regional presence to better serve global customers while complementing existing international operations. Dayanand Reddy, Managing Director of Vasantha Tool Crafts, emphasized that the collaboration combines high-precision manufacturing with design innovation to accelerate product lifecycles. With this launch, OptiMIM seeks to enhance its responsiveness and scalability in key growth markets, utilizing the combined technical resources of both firms to handle complex component production.
