MetroTrade Expands Platform with Devexperts Options Integration

Chicago-based retail futures broker MetroTrade has integrated options on futures trading into its platform, leveraging new infrastructure developed by software firm Devexperts. This expansion allows users to manage both futures and options through a single account, marking a significant shift in the firm’s technical capabilities for U.S. market participants.

The collaboration enables direct access to CME-listed contracts, encompassing equity indices, energy, and metals. Devexperts, which has partnered with the broker since its 2023 inception, engineered a suite of specialized tools for the platform, including an earnings analyzer, options chains, and support for multi-leg strategies.

MetroTrade President David Klotz characterized the project as a ground-up infrastructure build, positioning the new interface as a distinct offering within the current retail landscape. For Devexperts, the project serves to broaden the utility of its existing multi-asset trading engine, providing traders with increased flexibility for executing complex strategies. The service remains under the regulatory oversight of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and functions as a member of the National Futures Association.
