Former Tech Executive Launches Senior Care Franchise in North Phoenix
After 25 years in the technology sector, Bobbi Jo Kyte is pivoting to elder care, opening a new Seniors Helping Seniors franchise to serve the Desert Foothills. The location, covering Cave Creek, Carefree, and Anthem, marks the brand's ninth expansion into Arizona as demand for home-based support services climbs.

Kyte’s transition follows a personal journey rooted in her Midwestern upbringing, where she witnessed her father assist elderly neighbors and later receive community support during his battle with cancer. These experiences shaped her commitment to the franchise’s specific model: pairing active seniors with clients who require assistance. This approach aims to foster trust through shared generational perspectives, helping older adults maintain independence within their own homes.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services estimates that nearly 70% of retirees will eventually require some form of long-term care, a statistic that underscores the rapid growth of the company’s network. With over 200 franchise partners nationwide, the brand distinguishes itself by prioritizing the hiring of older caregivers. Namrata Yocom-Jan, president of the organization, noted that Kyte’s background and dedication to community service align with the company's objective to provide specialized care throughout northern Arizona.
