At booth 2901, Roche will host the live debut of its cobas Mass Spec solution, a system designed to strip away manual preparation steps that currently anchor complex testing to niche facilities. By integrating the cobas i 601 analyzer with Ionify reagents, the company intends to allow standard labs to perform sophisticated diagnostic work without the traditional burden of labor-intensive workflows.
Beyond mass spectrometry, the exhibit highlights the AXELIOS 1, a next-generation sequencing platform that utilizes sequencing by expansion technology to drastically cut turnaround times. These hardware updates are paired with the navify digital portfolio, which provides cloud-based analytics to predict lab workloads and automate maintenance. From the VENTANA DP 600 scanner for digital pathology to point-of-care tools like the cobas liat system, the focus remains on reducing manual touchpoints and clearing bottlenecks in neurology and oncology screening. These integrated solutions represent a strategic move to standardize performance across networks, allowing staff to move away from repetitive processing and toward higher-value clinical interpretation.
