Happy Money Retains Spot on CNBC World’s Top Fintech List
For the second consecutive year, Torrance-based consumer lender Happy Money has been named to CNBC’s list of the World's Top Fintech Companies. The ranking, produced in partnership with Statista, evaluates over 2,000 global firms based on performance metrics and their ability to address specific financial consumer needs.

The company’s recognition centers on its model for consolidating high-interest credit card debt through fixed-rate personal loans. CEO Matt Potere noted that the platform aims to alleviate both the financial and emotional burdens associated with revolving debt, which remains at record levels for many American households.
Growth metrics underline this industry standing, as Happy Money recently surpassed $7 billion in total loan originations. Data shows the firm has assisted more than 350,000 borrowers, with over one-third of clients cutting their credit card balances by more than half within six months of receiving a loan. These results are bolstered by a network of over a dozen strategic funding partnerships with credit unions and banks. Beyond the CNBC honor, the company also secured the FinTech Breakthrough Award for Best Consumer Lending Company for the second year running.
