Ordway Automates Invoice Reconciliation with New Payment Integration
Finance teams often lose days each month untangling lump-sum payouts and manual wire transfers that refuse to align with individual invoices. Ordway is now moving to resolve this friction by launching an integrated payment solution designed to automate the entire invoice-to-cash lifecycle for modern, subscription-based businesses.
The platform, built as an extension of Ordway’s existing order-to-revenue automation software, consolidates billing and payment processing into one application. By integrating credit card and ACH processing directly with AI-driven cash application, the system handles complex scenarios like partial payments or vague transaction descriptors that previously required human intervention.
At the heart of the tool is a self-learning model. Every manual correction performed by a finance professional trains the AI, increasing the accuracy of future payment matching. According to CEO Sameer Gulati, the goal is to stop the industry trend of merely monetizing interchange fees and instead focus on removing the administrative burden from scaling finance departments. By unifying these workflows, the company aims to help businesses adopt complex usage-based pricing models without incurring the proportional overhead of manual accounting.
