The two-day installation at the Oculus, created by artist and engineer Karyn Nakamura in collaboration with WIRED, translates complex financial market data into a tangible experience. By evolving from chaotic movement into coherent patterns, the display mirrors how portfolio managers sift through vast amounts of information to identify investment opportunities. According to Kelly Fredrickson, head of global brand and public relations at T. Rowe Price, the exhibit aims to demonstrate how rigorous research and disciplined judgment cut through market distractions.

This artistic endeavor coincides with a period of significant expansion for the asset manager. Since entering the space in 2020, the firm has built a portfolio of more than 30 active ETFs, with total assets under management now exceeding $25 billion. The initiative includes digital advertising across Manhattan transit hubs and features insights from portfolio managers such as Jodi Love and Dom Rizzo. The firm, which oversees $1.89 trillion in global assets, continues to emphasize its 90-year history of proprietary research as it promotes the tax efficiency and trading flexibility of its current exchange-traded fund offerings.
