Always Best Care Franchisee Expands Senior Services to Lancaster County

The new facility, located at 1861 Charter Lane in Lancaster, marks a significant growth milestone for Montgomery, who has operated the Always Best Care brand in the region since 2010. His current organization supports roughly 100 clients with a staff of over 100 caregivers, a model he now intends to replicate in Lancaster County. The expansion addresses a clear demographic shift, as the area contains one of the fastest-growing older adult populations in the state.

To staff the new location, Montgomery expects to hire between 20 and 30 caregivers within the first year of operation. The agency will offer a range of services, including assistance with daily living, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, and transportation services for seniors across Lancaster, Lititz, Ephrata, and neighboring communities. Jake Brown, President and CEO of Always Best Care, noted that the move reflects both the regional demand for specialized care and Montgomery’s long-standing track record of establishing trust with local healthcare professionals and families. For Montgomery, the expansion remains rooted in a philosophy he has cultivated over three decades of business in the region: focusing on the specific needs of the local community while supporting families through difficult caregiving decisions.
