Graybar Appoints Michelle Reckelhoff to Lead Human Resources

Reckelhoff arrives with over two decades of experience, most notably from her tenure at Caleres, where she served as Senior Director of Human Resources Business Partnerships. Her work in the St. Louis business community earned her a 2022 HR Award from the St. Louis Business Journal, a recognition highlighting her contributions to workplace innovation. At Graybar, she will report to Senior Vice President Beverly Propst, who emphasized that Reckelhoff’s leadership is essential to maintaining the firm’s employee-ownership culture during its ongoing corporate transformation.

Beyond her operational duties, Reckelhoff is a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional and a graduate of Fontbonne University. She joins a Fortune 500 entity that operates a network of more than 355 distribution facilities across North America, focusing on the supply chain management of electrical and automation products. Her mandate includes driving continuous improvement across the company’s HR platforms to ensure that personnel policies remain aligned with the organization's evolving business priorities.
