Boeing taps Pelico AI to accelerate C-17 maintenance cycles

The collaboration leverages Pelico’s Manufacturing Orchestration Platform to create a centralized workspace for supply, engineering, and depot operations. By providing a real-time view of material shortages and maintenance bottlenecks, Boeing intends to increase the predictability of aircraft delivery schedules. This initiative follows a successful pilot program within Boeing Global Services’ commercial spare parts division, where the platform demonstrated a measurable reduction in backlogs.

Turbo Sjogren, vice president of Government Services at Boeing, noted that the technology provides a comprehensive view of sustainment challenges, enabling teams to operate more efficiently. Pelico CEO Tarik Benabdallah emphasized that the software addresses the complexities of aging fleets by mapping dependencies across production and repair workflows. Both companies are now evaluating how these digital tools might be scaled to support sustainment operations for other aerospace platforms.
