West Pharmaceutical Services Raises Full-Year Guidance After Strong Q2
West Pharmaceutical Services reported a 13.8% increase in second-quarter net sales to $872.3 million, buoyed by surging demand in its biologics and GLP-1 elastomer businesses. The Exton-based company subsequently raised its full-year 2026 earnings outlook, citing robust execution and favorable product mix shifts across its core segments.

The company’s adjusted-diluted earnings per share climbed 28.8% to $2.37 for the quarter, outperforming internal expectations. Eric M. Green, President and CEO, attributed the financial momentum to the High Value Product (HVP) components business, which benefited from ongoing HVP upgrades and the adoption of Annex 1 standards.
Proprietary products, the company’s largest segment, delivered $722.6 million in sales, representing a 16.6% increase. Within this division, HVP delivery devices saw particularly strong growth, rising 29.6% compared to the prior-year period. Following these results, West updated its full-year net sales guidance to a range of $3.345 billion to $3.380 billion, while lifting its adjusted-diluted EPS forecast to between $8.85 and $9.05 per share. The company continues to return capital to shareholders, having repurchased 1.8 million shares during the first half of the year.
