Ontinue Secures Gold Stevie Award for Agentic SOC Innovation
Zurich-based cybersecurity firm Ontinue has been awarded a Gold Stevie for Technology Excellence, a recognition highlighting its transition from traditional AI integration to a multi-agent operating model. The company's ION MXDR platform now utilizes specialized software agents to handle complex security investigations at machine speed.

The platform moves beyond standard automation by embedding specialized agents into the core of security workflows. These agents manage threat hunting, incident investigation, and posture hardening by leveraging specific customer context. While the software takes on progressive decision-making responsibilities, human cyber defenders remain in control to ensure accountability. This model, which reached full production for all ION MXDR customers in December 2024, enables autonomous investigation of Tier 2-level incidents.
Operational metrics from the platform indicate a significant shift in efficiency, with the system resolving 99.5 percent of incidents without requiring customer intervention. The architecture cuts mean investigation times by half and maintains a median response time of under nine minutes for high-severity threats. CEO Moritz Mann noted that the award validates the company's effort to shift AI from a passive assistant to a primary operational capability, ultimately freeing security teams from the constraints of alert fatigue.
