Nano-X Imaging Faces Securities Lawsuit Over Manufacturing Missteps
Investors in Nano-X Imaging Ltd. are facing a court-imposed deadline to join a class action lawsuit following allegations that the company misled shareholders about the efficiency of its South Korean chip manufacturing facility between March 31, 2025, and April 17, 2026.

The legal action, filed by the firm Levi & Korsinsky, centers on claims that Nano-X management touted its chip fabrication plant as a cornerstone of its commercial strategy while hiding a fundamental disconnect between production capacity and actual market demand. According to the complaint, the company repeatedly described its manufacturing operations as optimized, even as internal metrics suggested otherwise. This alleged lack of alignment eventually forced a $17.5 million impairment charge on long-lived assets.
Financial transparency issues came to a head on April 20, 2026, when Nano-X reported a $33.4 million net loss for the fourth quarter of 2025. Following the disclosure of the $17.5 million write-down and an $18 million restructuring plan to shift toward third-party manufacturing, the company's share price plummeted by 24.39% to close at $2.155. The lawsuit contends that Nano-X artificially inflated its stock value throughout the class period, including during a $15 million capital raise in November 2025, by concealing the true state of its operational expenses and cash burn. Investors who purchased securities during this window are now eligible to seek recovery for losses stemming from the subsequent market correction.
