Systemair expands North American footprint with Temspec acquisition

Temspec brings a legacy of engineering expertise to the group, having operated since 1971 with a primary focus on energy-efficient, low-noise equipment for schools and multi-storey buildings. The company reported annual revenues of approximately EUR 18 million for the 2024/25 fiscal year, maintaining an EBIT-margin that exceeds Systemair’s own performance benchmarks. Robert Larsson, CEO of Systemair, characterized the move as a strategic consolidation that leverages Temspec’s established sales representative network to drive regional growth.

For Temspec, the transition represents a shift into a larger global organization. President Mark Ellison highlighted the cultural alignment between the two firms, noting that the merger provides his team with expanded resources while maintaining the values cultivated over the company's 55-year history. Systemair will now fold the Canadian plant into its North American operations, which currently support a workforce of roughly 555 people. The acquisition was officially completed on July 23, 2026.
