Yesway and Allsup's Join Nationwide 24/7 Day to Honor First Responders
On July 24, convenience retailers across the United States will celebrate the eighth annual 24/7 Day by providing complimentary refreshments to first responders and medical personnel. Yesway, Inc. is participating in the initiative, offering free coffee, fountain drinks, and water to those serving on the front lines of community safety.
The campaign recognizes the around-the-clock commitment of firefighters, EMTs, 911 operators, and American Red Cross volunteers. At all Yesway and Allsup's locations, these professionals can receive a free 30.4 oz Core Hydration water along with a fountain drink or coffee of any size by presenting valid identification or arriving in uniform.
Tom Trkla, Chairman and CEO of Yesway, stated that supporting the communities they serve is fundamental to the company's mission. The NACS Foundation, which organizes the event, highlights that convenience stores are uniquely positioned to recognize these individuals, given the industry's role in local infrastructure. With over 152,000 stores nationwide, the sector conducts roughly 160 million transactions daily, often acting as a primary point of contact for emergency workers during their shifts.
