Robert Half Reports Revenue Dip as Hiring Demand Shows Improvement
Robert Half Inc. posted $1.336 billion in second-quarter revenue, marking a 2 percent decline compared to the same period last year. Despite the dip, the specialized talent solutions firm reported that performance exceeded the midpoint of its internal guidance, signaling a strengthening in market conditions and hiring demand.

Net income for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, totaled $26 million, or $0.26 per share, down from $41 million, or $0.41 per share, in the prior-year period. While global enterprise revenues faced a contraction, the company's talent solutions division achieved its third consecutive quarter of sequential revenue growth on an adjusted basis. Furthermore, permanent placement operations posted a 2.5 percent year-over-year revenue increase.
M. Keith Waddell, president and CEO, attributed the results to a combination of high-tech capabilities and specialized consulting expertise. The firm, which operates the global consulting business Protiviti, continues to navigate a shifting economic environment, with management noting that hiring demand is increasingly supportive of business operations. Robert Half maintains its focus on connecting skilled job seekers with roles across finance, technology, and legal sectors, even as global markets fluctuate.
