Investors Face August 4 Deadline in PicS N.V. Securities Lawsuit

Investors who purchased PicS N.V. stock during its January 30, 2026, initial public offering have until August 4 to seek lead plaintiff status in a pending class action. The lawsuit alleges that the company obscured significant deficiencies in its credit underwriting practices ahead of its public market debut.

The legal action, spearheaded by the firm Hagens Berman, centers on claims that PicS executives and underwriters withheld critical information regarding internal reviews conducted in December 2025. These assessments reportedly identified systemic failures in credit evaluation procedures, which allegedly masked a sharp rise in non-performing loans and heightened default risks. The company’s stock subsequently suffered a series of sharp declines following the disclosure of these issues in March and June 2026, with share prices falling to less than half of the original $19.00 IPO valuation.

Reed Kathrein, the Hagens Berman partner managing the investigation, stated that the firm is scrutinizing whether the company misrepresented its AI-driven underwriting models as a competitive edge while concealing internal data that signaled portfolio degradation. Beyond the class action, the firm is encouraging individuals with non-public information to consider participating in the SEC whistleblower program, which offers potential financial rewards for original information leading to successful recoveries.
