Aurora Cannabis Secures ISS Backing Ahead of Annual Meeting
Institutional Shareholder Services has issued a formal recommendation for Aurora Cannabis shareholders to vote in favor of all management proposals at the upcoming 2026 Annual General Meeting. The endorsement from the influential proxy advisory firm bolsters the company's position as it seeks board re-elections and compensation approval.
The virtual meeting, scheduled for August 7, 2026, will address four key items: fixing the number of directors at five, electing the board, appointing an auditor, and a non-binding advisory vote on executive compensation. Aurora CEO Miguel Martin characterized the ISS support as a validation of the company's existing governance framework and board oversight.
Shareholders are encouraged to submit their votes by the August 5 deadline. To assist with the process, the company has engaged Kingsdale Advisors, which remains available for inquiries via phone or through the dedicated portal at www.MyAuroraVote.com. Detailed information regarding these resolutions is available through the company’s management information circular on SEDAR+.
