Under the agreement, Cognizant will modernize the insurer's policy administration platform and establish an AWS-native enterprise data foundation using a "Medallion" architecture. This structure is designed to consolidate fragmented data from core systems and agency management into a single, audit-ready source. By automating data-quality checks and lineage, the firm intends to create the reliable data environment necessary for future AI implementation.

Beyond infrastructure, the partnership focuses on cybersecurity and long-term operational resilience. Cognizant will manage identity access and architecture hardening for the MyAndover portal, aligning the insurer with New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) standards. Looking ahead, the companies plan to utilize Cognizant’s Neuro AI platform to pilot generative and agentic AI tools. These systems are intended to assist underwriters and adjusters with submission intake and claims triage, while maintaining human oversight in decision-making processes.
