Frisco Daycare Faces Third Lawsuit Over Alleged Abuse and Cover-ups

Annalise Sisson filed the lawsuit in Collin County this week after discovering her 3-year-old daughter had been forcefully handled by a caregiver. Surveillance footage reviewed by Sisson showed a staff member yanking the toddler by the arm and shoving her into a chair, leaving visible bruising. Despite Sisson alerting the center’s owners to the incident, the caregiver remained on staff with only a warning. The complaint alleges that one owner later demanded Sisson delete her copy of the video evidence.

Evidence surfaced in a management group chat revealing that owners were aware of multiple safety failures, including reports that three employees left four children unattended on a splash pad. Rather than addressing the risks, an owner responded to the news with a sarcastic remark about awarding the teachers a gold medal. Subsequent investigation by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) substantiated these claims, uncovering 15 videos of staff aggressively grabbing and hitting children. The center received eight citations for safety violations following the state probe. Russell Button, the attorney representing Sisson, described the findings as evidence of a reckless disregard for student safety, noting that additional families have begun coming forward to expose the scale of the mistreatment.
