Grant, who continues to report to CEO Raul Fernandez, will now oversee both the LabX incubator and the AI Platforms Engine. This expanded remit aims to bridge the gap between AI development and commercial execution. By integrating product incubation with delivery capabilities, the company intends to help clients move beyond experimental pilots toward large-scale implementation using an open ecosystem of partners, including Amazon, Anthropic, and Microsoft.

The shift aligns with DXC’s broader “Fast Track” business strategy, which separates high-growth AI initiatives from the firm’s mature core operations. LabX, which launched in April, will utilize a dedicated workforce of tens of thousands of forward-deployed engineers to integrate agentic AI directly into customer environments. Grant’s background includes a tenure as Chief Operating Officer at the Long-Term Stock Exchange, where she focused on organizational scaling and strategic operations before joining DXC to shape its current AI agenda.
