The rapid proliferation of autonomous agents has created a significant security blind spot. While Omdia research suggests that 96% of organizations currently lack adequate governance for AI-driven workflows, these agents are increasingly granted access to sensitive enterprise systems. Hush Security aims to bridge this gap by replacing static credentials with identity-based controls. The platform requires every agent to be registered, stripping them of standing access in favor of just-in-time, scoped permissions that can be revoked instantly via a centralized kill switch.

This approach has gained traction among major industry players, including IT infrastructure provider Kyndryl, which has integrated the platform internally and begun offering it to its own client base. Ramanath Iyer, Chief Strategist at Akamai, noted that as AI agents drive the next wave of internet transformation, identity remains the missing piece in enterprise security. Micha Rave, CEO and co-founder of Hush, emphasized that software now acts with autonomy, necessitating strict identity verification rather than traditional API keys.

Hush plans to utilize the fresh capital to scale its engineering and sales operations in the United States. The company will also focus on deepening its integrations with enterprise IAM systems and AI platforms to solidify its role as the primary governance layer for non-human workforces.
