Torchy's Tacos Marks Two Decades of Growth with New Anniversary Deals
Two decades after launching from a single Austin food trailer, Torchy's Tacos is celebrating its milestone anniversary by launching the Taco Two-Step, a value-driven bundle featuring signature favorites, chips, salsa, and a drink starting at $9.95, as the company expands its reach to over 115 U.S. locations.

The promotion arrives as the chain reflects on twenty years of business, moving from a modest operation powered by a red Vespa to a national brand. CEO Paul Macaluso emphasized that the new bundle maintains the company's commitment to scratch-made ingredients, including house-pressed tortillas and fresh salsas. Customers can select from established menu staples, such as the Trailer Park, Green Chile Pork, Chicken Fajita, or the vegetarian Avocado taco.
Beyond the current promotion, the company is preparing for a month of events. On August 1, it will debut the Muay Thai taco—a limited-time offering featuring fried shrimp, panang curry sauce, and Thai basil. Additionally, the brand is releasing a custom-themed Monopoly game for its Rewards members and fans. Founder Mike Rypka noted that the company’s evolution from that initial food trailer to its current scale remains rooted in the original philosophy of prioritizing bold, inventive food over rigid corporate planning.
