Davino brings over two decades of automotive experience to the role, having most recently served as regional managing director for BYD Europe. Her tenure there involved scaling the brand across several key markets, including Germany, Switzerland, and the Nordic countries. Prior to BYD, she spent more than ten years at Stellantis, where she served as Group Managing Director and CEO for the UK, navigating the company's transition toward electric vehicle adoption.

Her appointment comes as Ford pushes to refine its European strategy, which relies on bolstering its commercial vehicle arm, Ford Pro, and launching five new passenger models by 2029. Baumbick cited her history of managing complex portfolios and fostering dealer relationships as critical assets for the company’s ongoing transformation. Davino’s career in the industry began in 2003 at Lamborghini, setting the stage for a trajectory that has spanned multiple European markets and major manufacturing entities.
