ThreatLocker Raises $190 Million to Scale Zero Trust Security

Orlando-based cybersecurity firm ThreatLocker has secured $190 million in a Series F funding round led by Elephant. The capital infusion, which includes a significant new investment from Koch Disruptive Technologies, is earmarked to accelerate the development of AI-focused security tools and fuel the company’s ongoing international expansion.

The investment arrives as organizations grapple with an increasingly volatile threat landscape, specifically the rise of AI-accelerated exploits. CEO Danny Jenkins argues that traditional cybersecurity, which focuses on identifying malicious activity after a breach, is fundamentally flawed. Instead, the company promotes a default-deny model, using its Ringfencing technology to dictate exactly what applications and AI agents can interact with within a corporate environment.

Beyond domestic growth, the funding supports a push into the European market, highlighted by the opening of a new office in Reading, U.K. This follows recent international expansion into Brisbane and Dubai. With over 70,000 organizations already utilizing its platform, ThreatLocker aims to simplify the deployment of Zero Trust architectures, which have historically been viewed as overly complex for large-scale enterprise environments.

Existing backers D. E. Shaw Ventures and Arthur Ventures participated in the round alongside Elephant. Koch Disruptive Technologies intends to integrate its industry network and resources to assist in the firm’s scaling efforts. BofA Securities acted as the exclusive placement agent, while Latham & Watkins LLP provided legal counsel for the transaction.
