Snickers Ice Cream Searches for First Chief Online Chill Officer
To combat the relentless intensity of modern social media, Snickers Ice Cream is hiring a Chief Online Chill Officer. The brand is seeking a candidate to monitor heated digital debates and neutralize online drama with humor, witty commentary, and coupons for their signature mini ice cream treats.

The chosen applicant will step into a two-week, hybrid role based near Chicago, operating from August 24 through September 3. Tasked with acting as a voice of reason, the successful hire will monitor social platforms for the internet's most stressful moments and respond with lighthearted interventions. Beyond managing the brand’s social presence, the officer will document their experience through vlogs and behind-the-scenes content.
Chanel Gant, Senior Marketing Director at Mars Ice Cream, noted that the initiative aims to reflect the snackable, satisfying nature of the product. Interested fans can submit applications and a short video through August 4. Beyond the official title, the role offers compensation and the opportunity to sample the brand’s five varieties, including the recent Snickers x M&M's collaboration. All applicants will receive a digital coupon to trial the snacks, which feature a blend of real ice cream, caramel, peanuts, and chocolate.
