Wix Investors Face September Deadline in Securities Class Action
Investors holding Wix.com Ltd. securities between February 19, 2025, and May 12, 2026, have until September 22, 2026, to seek lead plaintiff status in a federal class action lawsuit. The litigation claims senior executives issued misleading information regarding the company’s AI product performance and underlying operational costs.

The complaint filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois targets Wix co-founders Avishai Abrahami and Nir Zohar, alongside CFO Lior Shemesh. Plaintiffs allege that these executives exerted control over public disclosures, including SEC filings and press releases, while allegedly concealing material weaknesses in the firm's AI offerings and Base44 cost pressures. The legal action centers on the contention that the company maintained a veneer of competitive strength while failing to disclose technical deficiencies in its 'Wix Harmony' platform and mounting expenses associated with developer-focused growth. During the specified period, Wix shares experienced a significant decline, falling from a closing price of $181.74 on May 20, 2025, to $55.32 by May 13, 2026. The lawsuit further questions the validity of Sarbanes-Oxley certifications provided by Abrahami and Shemesh, asserting that these documents misrepresented the firm's financial reality to shareholders. Investors who incurred losses during this period are encouraged to contact Levi & Korsinsky, LLP, which is managing the case on a contingency basis.
