The Camden-based utility continues to expand its footprint, adding approximately 52,000 customer connections through acquisitions this year, including the integration of Nexus Water systems. CEO John Griffith pointed to a constructive rate case outcome in Pennsylvania as a key driver for the second half of the year. The company maintains its long-term growth targets, aiming for a 7–9% increase in earnings and dividends annually.

Financial performance was bolstered by authorized revenue increases, which helped offset higher depreciation and financing expenses stemming from a $1.8 billion investment in infrastructure during the first six months of 2026. While the company pursues a merger with Essential Utilities—having secured approvals in three states—management remains focused on capital recovery. Additionally, the Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.8950 per share, payable on September 1, 2026.
