The competition, organized by Pearson, serves as a high-stakes arena for students who qualified through national-level exams. This year’s winners represented a diverse international field, with champions hailing from Macao, Vietnam, Guatemala, and Lebanon. By mastering both the Microsoft 365 and Office 2019 versions of the software, these participants demonstrated technical precision intended to signal readiness for an increasingly digital workforce.

Arthur Valentine, President of Assessment and Qualifications at Pearson, noted that the event highlights the commitment required to navigate a fast-changing economy. The MOS certification remains the only Microsoft-recognized program for validating these specific skills, currently available in 26 languages across 140 countries. For the winners, the achievement marks a step toward bridging the gap between academic preparation and professional demand, providing a credential that employers increasingly use to measure workplace readiness in an AI-driven environment.
