Grounded Lithium Secures Financing for Oil Facility Upgrades

Grounded Lithium Corp. has finalized a C$106,000 unsecured loan to fund infrastructure improvements at its oil and gas assets. The Calgary-based company, which reported June production of 123 barrels per day, aims to enhance operating efficiencies and boost throughput capacity at the facility by early August 2026.

The facility upgrades, estimated to cost C$263,000, are being financed through a combination of the new loan and a non-interest-bearing vendor agreement worth approximately C$86,000. Under the current ownership structure, Analogy Capital Advisors holds a 40% working interest, while Grounded Lithium and an unrelated third party each hold 30%. The project costs are distributed among these partners in alignment with their respective stakes.

Once the upgrades are complete, Grounded Lithium intends to act as the operator and establish new processing fee agreements with its partners. These fees are expected to prioritize debt repayment before eventually increasing the company’s share of net operating income. While the firm remains focused on its lithium brine projects in Southwest Saskatchewan, these oil-related improvements are designed to capitalize on current crude oil fundamentals and lower production decline profiles.
