Hamilton Lane Leads $270 Million Continuation Vehicle for Savant Wealth
Ten years after its initial investment, Cynosure Partners has secured a $270 million single-asset continuation vehicle for Savant Wealth Management. Hamilton Lane acted as the sole lead investor in the transaction, providing liquidity to original limited partners while maintaining the firm's focus on the expanding independent wealth management sector.

The deal marks a significant milestone for Savant, one of the largest fee-only registered investment advisors in the U.S., which now manages over $57 billion in assets. Following the transaction, Cynosure retains its status as an active minority investor and board member alongside private equity firm Kelso & Company. Savant employees remain the largest shareholder group, preserving the company's internal ownership structure.
For Hamilton Lane, the investment underscores a strategy of targeting high-quality firms within the wealth management ecosystem. Keith Brittain, co-head of secondary investments at Hamilton Lane, pointed to the strong management and secular growth trends as primary drivers for the deal. Savant CEO Brent Brodeski noted that the firm has grown over 25 times in size since Cynosure first invested, signaling that the company plans to continue its expansion in the advisory and consulting space. Campbell Lutyens served as the exclusive financial advisor for the transaction, with legal counsel provided by Ropes & Gray and Debevoise.
