With the debut of its fourth Arizona property, LivAway Suites is planting a flag in Tucson’s growing aerospace and medical corridor. The move marks a key expansion for the economy extended-stay brand, which now operates or has under development 21 locations across the United States to meet rising demand for long-term lodging.
The new facility caters to professionals and travelers drawn to the region by the University of Arizona, Banner University Medical Center, and the nearby Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Designed for stays ranging from weeks to months, the property features in-suite kitchens, smart laundry, and high-speed connectivity—amenities aimed at project-based workers and those relocating to the area.
Dan Barrett, Chief Development Officer at LivAway Suites, noted that the Tucson location reflects a broader national shift toward modern, value-driven extended stay options. By integrating technology into its operating platform, the Lehi, Utah-based company is positioning itself to capture a larger share of the economy sector, focusing on guests who require flexible living solutions without the burden of long-term lease commitments.
