Epic Games brings Fortnite back to Brazilian iPhones

The presiding judge noted that Apple has already adapted to similar mandates elsewhere without suffering significant economic harm or operational disruption. While the company intends to appeal the ruling, the timeline for local integration is already set in motion. This expansion follows the successful rollout of the Epic Games Store in the European Union last August, where the Digital Markets Act previously compelled Apple to allow third-party storefronts.

Since the European launch, Epic has continued to push its mobile presence, bringing the store to iPads in September and expanding its reach for both Fortnite and the storefront on Android platforms globally. This move represents a strategic push by Epic to bypass the centralized control of Apple's App Store, leveraging legal precedents to establish a foothold in major international markets.
