Tim Cook signals potential paid tiers for Apple Intelligence power users

This strategy addresses the technical constraints revealed by the company earlier this summer. Because these features rely on complex server-side models, Apple currently enforces daily usage limits. While current iCloud Plus subscribers already receive increased access, a dedicated AI tier would cater specifically to those requiring higher throughput. This pivot aligns with Apple's services business, which recently generated $30.74 billion in quarterly revenue, proving that subscription-based models remain a core pillar of the company’s financial growth.
