Armory Defense Deploys Autonomous Agents to Stress-Test Digital Perimeters
A 9.8 CVSS-rated VPN vulnerability that once required weeks for an adversary to weaponize can now be exploited in just 40 minutes using AI. To counter this speed, Tel Aviv-based Armory Defense has unveiled Offensive Agentic-AI Simulations, a platform designed to identify and prove exploitable attack paths before breaches occur.
The platform shifts the focus from theoretical vulnerability scanning to active adversarial simulation. Rather than bombarding security teams with generic alerts, autonomous agents map an organization's specific infrastructure to replicate real-world attack behaviors. These simulations target high-value assets through "Hackbooks"—specialized modules that automate testing across domains like API exploitation, authentication abuse, and database security.
Alon Aharon, CEO and co-founder of Armory Defense, argues that traditional point-in-time assessments are no longer sufficient against machine-speed threats. By providing controlled proof of impact for every discovered exposure, the system aims to eliminate alert fatigue. The agentless technology integrates with existing security stacks to offer continuous visibility into an organization's external attack surface, allowing teams to prioritize remediation based on verified risk rather than potential concerns.
