Arriyadh Roaster Taps Rockwell Automation to Digitize Coffee Production
To manage rapid growth and increasing manufacturing complexity, Saudi Arabia’s largest specialty coffee roaster, Arriyadh Roaster, has deployed the Plex Smart Manufacturing Platform. The move provides the company with a cloud-native digital backbone to track inventory, quality, and production output across its expanding shop floor in real time.
The transition to the Plex manufacturing execution system (MES) aims to unify data flows and provide immediate visibility into work-in-progress and order status. As Arriyadh Roaster scales its production lines to meet rising national demand, the platform serves as a central source of truth for the company’s operations.
Local system integrator GulfNet Solutions Company Limited facilitated the integration, bridging the Plex platform with the roaster’s existing ERP system. This partnership marks a significant milestone for industrial modernization in the region, aligning with the broader economic goals of Saudi Vision 2030. According to Hassan Sharrofna, general manager of Arriyadh Roaster, the integrated system allows the business to maintain quality standards while accelerating the introduction of new product lines.
