During the opening ceremony, IUFoST Executive President Dr. Pavinee Chinachoti presented the commemorative award, citing the city's long-term commitment to industrial advancement. She noted that the recognition serves to encourage industry leaders like Yili Group to prioritize technological leadership and global health standards.

Yili Group Chairman and President Pan Gang addressed the assembly with a call for a new, collaborative global dairy ecosystem. He argued that innovation must function as an interconnected network rather than an isolated endeavor. To support this vision, Yili is focusing on "digital-intelligent" integration across its entire supply chain, moving beyond traditional production models to address climate challenges and shifting consumer needs.

The conference also served as a launchpad for new industrial infrastructure, including the China (Global) Dairy Data Intelligent Hub and the Global Dairy High-Quality Datasets Factory. Additionally, the China National Technology Innovation Center for Dairy released its top ten achievements for 2026. These breakthroughs span critical technical areas such as specialized cow breeding, lactoferrin production, and advancements in probiotic research, reinforcing the industry's shift toward sustainable, high-quality development.
