CEO Brandon Bonifacio described the findings as a strategic milestone, noting that the site’s history as a past-producing brownfield could significantly accelerate development timelines compared to greenfield projects. The company is pursuing a two-track strategy: immediate efforts to extract antimony from historical gold leach pads by 2027, followed by long-term conventional production.

This push comes as Washington intensifies efforts to insulate its defense supply chain from geopolitical volatility. With China having restricted exports and prices for the metal spiking, the Pentagon and the Defense Logistics Agency are actively seeking domestic alternatives. While the project faces standard hurdles—including metallurgical testing, permitting, and financing—its dual-metal profile provides a unique hedge. The high-value gold output could provide the necessary capital to underwrite the strategic antimony production, positioning the company to address a critical national security vulnerability that remains largely unserved by current domestic mining operations.
